Unique LA Spring 2011

we had so much fun at unique la 2 weeks ago!  our booth was located right next to food & rest area and it was super good for me as i was craving for something to eat all day long for both days!  we shared a booth with shino & ken this time as always!

these are one of our new products- animal clocks!

& the giraffe height chart has a new colored outfit!

wolfum- our friends, annabel & bredan has a new business and they are just so awesome!

La Brea Tar Pits

last sunday we went to La brea Tar Pits 

and aiden got to see his faborite animal, Sabor-toothed Tiger!!

again, he didn't wanna come back home!!

watching some starved looking saber-toothed cats

we got him a discovery kit & he worked on it very hard as a paleontologist

and got all the bones, washed and assembled them with john!

now it's one of his precious treaures!  sabor-toothed tiger skeleton!! 

and of course when it rains crazy like today, 

we stay home and aiden gets to play (or abuse?) with buie...

big bear trip

we finally made it to big bear!! both aiden and buie were so excited.

it was their first time seeing snow ever!  

aiden had a blast running around and having a first snowball fight.

buie agreed to do her business in snow after a day thou...   

aiden had so much fun inner tubing.

he didn't wanna stop riding it so everybody ended up 

staying there for 4 hrs!!

shino and i tried opening a pop-up store at fugufugu press last winter.  

it was not as busy as we thought it would've been 

but we had many people coming in and checking out our stuff!  

it was fun hanging out with shino as well.

normal days

i meant to update the blog as often as possible, but being lazy is my expertie.....

when i don't sit down with my sketchbook to design, 

i usually spend time with my 4 yrs old beautiful boy and 5 yrs old giant st. bernard.

actually that's what i do mostly.

making stuff with play doh

sometimes i try to be creative

watching the boys being silly

working hard in the backyard

and working more

abbot kinney festival

yes, it was hot!!!  foods were great!
got to see so so so many people & beautiful dogs!

lucky for us we had our good friends right next to us.
it definitely helped us get through the day.

the LA printer's fair

our good friends shino & ken participated in the LA printer's fair in carson.  aiden & i visited them to say hi and got a chance to see so many cool antique letterpress equipments!  

i didn't get to see the printmaking demonstrations 

but we learned how to make a cool paper bowl!

Heath Ceramics!

we went to check out Heath Bazaar in la last sunday with shino & ken. 

we sort of knew about this awesome ceramics,
but indeed, they are beautiful!

ok, this is our new obsession....
our christmas wish lists are done already!

Abbot Kinney Food Truck Night Out!!

yes, it was an adventure for us especially with our almost 4 yr old son.  thank god we had shino & ken (owners of www.fugufugupress.com) with us!!  it was supposed to be a night out to do some research on abbot kinney prior to the show we'll participate in on sep. 26th, but ha! FOOD TRUCKS!  we totally forgot what we were there for!
